Description For Sales Engineer - EMEA Velocity

Zscaler, the world's largest security cloud operator, is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their EMEA Velocity Sales Engineering team. As a NASDAQ-listed company serving 40% of Fortune 500 companies, Zscaler provides AI-powered Zero Trust Exchange platform to protect enterprise customers worldwide.

The role involves working directly with Zscaler's partner ecosystem, providing technical expertise and guidance to regional resellers and distribution partners. You'll be responsible for responding to technical pre-sales activities, conducting demonstrations, and delivering partner education through training sessions and architecture workshops.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in Enterprise Networking or Security fields, with a strong understanding of security and networking technologies. You'll need to be proficient in English and Spanish, with additional language skills in French or Italian being advantageous.

Responsibilities For Sales Engineer - EMEA Velocity

  • Respond to inbound requests from partner business managers, partners or distribution for technical pre-sales activities
  • Provide technical influence and guidance to partner community focusing on regional resellers and distribution partners
  • Assist partners through education, co-selling activities, solutions demo center labs and remote assistance
  • Educate partners via training classes, architecture workshops, and awareness activities
  • Work closely with Velocity team members on theater engagement with partners

Requirements For Sales Engineer - EMEA Velocity

  • 3 years of experience in Enterprise Networking or Security fields
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Understanding of security and networking technologies
  • Experience in interpreting organizational dynamics
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish
