Description For Senior Sales Engineer

Zscaler, the world's largest security cloud operator, is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join their Japan Sales Engineering team. Founded in 2007, Zscaler serves thousands of enterprise customers, including 40% of Fortune 500 companies, with their AI-powered Zero Trust Exchange platform.

As a Senior Sales Engineer, you'll be integral to the Sales and Go-to-Market team, working alongside Sales, Customer Success, Solution Architects, and other professionals. You'll leverage your technical expertise to guide enterprise customers, manage technical sales processes, and deliver compelling presentations.

The role requires a strong background in security and networking, with at least 7 years of pre-sales experience. You'll need deep knowledge of HTTP, web technologies, and system administration across various platforms. Understanding of SaaS and network security technologies is crucial.

Requirements For Senior Sales Engineer

Linux
  • BSCS or equivalent with extensive experience as an SE or systems integrator
  • More than 7 years of experience in Pre-Sales roles
  • At least 3 years of experience in selling security/networking solutions
  • Knowledge of HTTP and web related technologies
  • Experience with routing and switching products
  • Understanding of SaaS based technologies and network security technologies
  • Hands-on experience with systems installation, configuration and administration of macOS, UNIX/Linux and Windows-based systems
