Description For Senior Sales Engineer, CEUR - Major Accounts

Zscaler, a leading cloud security company serving thousands of enterprise customers including 40% of Fortune 500 companies, is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join their Central European Sales Engineering team. This remote-friendly position reports to the Sales Engineering Manager and is responsible for presenting the Zscaler cloud security platform to prospective customers, setting the vision, translating goals into relevant recommendations, and being a trusted advisor to clients during their transformational journey.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Presenting the Zscaler cloud security platform to prospective customers
  • Setting the vision and translating goals into enticing and relevant recommendations
  • Being a trusted advisor to clients while aiding their transformational journey
  • Gathering customer technical requirements and promoting the value proposition in presentations and demos

Minimum Qualifications:

  • More than 8 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or systems integrator
  • Knowledge of enterprise network or cloud security technologies
  • Experience working with Value Selling Methodologies
  • Experience giving presentations and demonstrations
  • Experience working with sales to identify, qualify and scope opportunities, build account and territory plans, and deliver proof of concept engagements
  • Fluent in German

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cloud Platform Certifications
  • Experience in SASE, Proxy technology, Cybersecurity, IPS, DLB, CASB, CNAPP
  • Experience working with large accounts
