Description For Senior Sales Engineer

As a Senior Sales Engineer, you'll join a dynamic global Sales and Go-to-Market team, reporting directly to the Sales Engineering Manager. Your role will be crucial in demonstrating Zscaler's cloud transformation capabilities to potential customers. You'll be responsible for platform demonstrations, technical requirement gathering, and managing evaluation processes.

The position requires extensive technical expertise, with 15+ years of experience as an SE or systems integrator. You'll need deep knowledge of network security technologies, system administration, and various technical protocols. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in GPO, Active Directory/LDAP, SSO/SAML, and various security technologies including HTTP, web security, proxies, and more.

Linux
  • Bachelors or equivalent combination of education
  • 15+ years of experience as an SE or systems integrator
  • Hands-on experience with systems installation, configuration, administration of routers/switches
  • Knowledge of network security technologies
  • GPO, Active Directory/LDAP and SSO/SAML experience
  • Experience with HTTP and web security technologies, proxies, caches, firewalls, SSL/TLS
  • Experience with GRE and IPsec tunnelling, DNS, load balancing, SD-WAN, VPN's, and DLP
