Senior Software Engineer - Risk360

Zscaler, a leading cloud security company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Risk360 team. This role involves technical leadership, mentorship, and the design and development of data processing pipelines for risk quantification. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team
• Designing and developing data processing pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and analysis
• Creating product features related to data transformations, enrichment, and analytics
• Establishing monitoring mechanisms for the data platform's performance and health
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX designers, and other backend teams

The ideal candidate should have:

• 5+ years of experience in software development and enterprise data warehouse solutions
• 2+ years of experience in TDD using JUnit, REST Assured, or TestNG
• Proficiency in Core Java, Concurrency, Distributed Computing, and SQL
• Experience with cloud infrastructure services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong knowledge of various DBMS systems, including NoSQL architectures
• Experience in container and container orchestration environments
• Ability to write efficient code for big data setups

This is a hybrid role based in either San Jose, CA or Alpharetta, GA. Zscaler offers a competitive salary range of $122,500 - $175,000 USD for this position, along with potential commission, bonus, equity, and benefits.
