Description For Service Partner Engineer

Zscaler, a leading cloud security company, is seeking a Service Partner Engineer to join their Sales and Go-to-Market team. This role is crucial in providing world-class professional services enablement and training to help develop and grow Zscaler's Service Authorized partners' service delivery capabilities. The ideal candidate will work closely with Zscaler's channel organization, professional services delivery teams, and other internal resources to help partners grow their capabilities and services practices supporting Zscaler products.

As a Service Partner Engineer, you will be responsible for enabling partners with technical skills, delivery methodologies, and leading practices around the design and deployment of Zscaler's products. You'll educate Authorized Partners on digital application transformation with Zscaler, dive deep into Zscaler use cases, and work with partners to develop their technical capabilities to deliver and manage comprehensive service offerings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging and supporting Zscaler's Service Authorized partners
  • Providing deal-specific guidance and assistance for deployment planning, design recommendations, and scoping processes
  • Collaborating with strategic partners in SoW construction, joint delivery planning, and resource alignment
  • Becoming a Zscaler cloud service expert

The ideal candidate will have experience with direct customer engagement, a background as a Deployment Engineer, Professional Services Consultant, Technical Account Manager, or Sr. Support Engineer, and expert-level understanding of networking and security concepts. Knowledge of authentication systems, cloud platforms, and experience with large-scale MDM deployment are highly valued.

Responsibilities For Service Partner Engineer

  • Engage and support Zscaler's Service Authorized partners by providing guidance and enablement in the practice of deployment of Zscaler products
  • Provide deal-specific guidance and assistance for deployment planning, design recommendations, and scoping processes
  • Collaborate with strategic partners in SoW construction, joint delivery planning, and resource alignment to ensure project success
  • Become a Zscaler cloud service expert through self-study, company training, and a desire to excel

Requirements For Service Partner Engineer

Python
  • Experience with direct customer engagement, including presentations & workshop scenarios
  • Experience as a Deployment Engineer, Professional Services Consultant, Technical Account Manager, Sr. Support Engineer or similar
  • Expert level understanding of networking and security concepts with large scale practical deployment knowledge
  • Knowledge of authentication systems such as MS AD, SAML, OIDC, etc
  • Knowledge of Cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS)
