Zscaler, the world's largest security cloud operator, is seeking a Staff Engineer for their ZPA Datazone team. As a Staff Engineer, you'll join a team that built and maintains the world's largest cloud security platform, boasting over 100 patents and serving more than 15 million users across 185 countries. You'll work directly with Principal Engineers on architectural changes and product designs, while building and operating high-scale systems. The role requires expertise in Java/C# coding in distributed environments, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and experience with modern technologies like Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka.

  • 6+ years of experience in Java/C# coding in highly distributed and enterprise-scale environment
  • Experience being oncall and dealing with cloud incidents and writing RCAs
  • Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure services on AWS/Azure
  • Bachelor Degree/or Masters Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • Great mentor and coach
