Staff Site Reliability Engineer - Federal, Security Clearance

Zscaler, a leading cloud security company, is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer for their Federal team. This role requires a Secret Security Clearance and an Information Assurance Technician Level 2 Certification (which can be obtained within the first few weeks of employment).

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee operational tasks for FedRAMP cloud products, including deployments, on-call duties, and incident management
• Manage cloud infrastructure components in AWS GovCloud and private cloud environments
• Develop operations documentation and implement measures to prevent recurring incidents
• Contribute to DevOps best practices

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer
• Experience with High/Moderate FedRAMP authorization levels and monthly monitoring programs
• Hands-on experience with Linux administration, network troubleshooting, and infrastructure as code tools
• Coding experience (preferably Python) and expertise in container-based architectures
• Knowledge of virtualization, cloud architecture, automated deployments, web security, and networking fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications:

• Python coding experience
• Experience with container-based architectures (AWS ECS / Kubernetes)
• Information Assurance Technician Level 2 certification
