Description For Tier II Technical Support Engineer

Zscaler, a leading SaaS company in the cybersecurity field, is seeking a Tier II Technical Support Engineer to join their team in Tel Aviv, Israel. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, reporting to the local Team Lead of Technical Support.

Responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting customer issues, providing effective solutions within required SLAs
  • Supporting the technical aspect of onboarding new customers
  • Documenting and tracking customer interactions, issues, and resolutions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
  • Becoming a product expert and staying up-to-date on new features
  • Identifying and writing technical articles or knowledge-base entries

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of practical experience in customer support or related field
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Programming experience in Python
  • Experience in data modeling methodologies and advanced SQL
  • Strong written and verbal English skills
  • Strong customer service orientation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of practical experience in data analytics
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity products (SIEM, vulnerability assessment tools, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
