Senior DevOps Engineer

Zyte, a pioneer in web data extraction since 2010, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their globally distributed team of over 250 professionals across 28 countries. The company provides essential data extraction tools and services to over 3,000 companies and 1 million developers worldwide.

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be instrumental in building automation solutions that empower developers and drive business value. You'll join the Infrastructure Team, working with cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Prometheus, and Grafana. Your responsibilities will include managing and scaling clusters exceeding 600 worker nodes, spanning both cloud-hosted and on-premises bare metal servers.

The role combines technical expertise with innovation, as you'll be working with both cloud platforms (GCP, OCI) and on-premises infrastructure. Open Source is fundamental to Zyte's culture, and you'll have dedicated time for open-source contributions. The position offers the flexibility of remote work while being part of a progressive, multi-cultural team.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and automation tools. Strong Python scripting skills and proficiency in observability tools are essential. You'll be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, ensuring system reliability, and continuously improving infrastructure performance.
