Hi, I totally agreed with what Alex and Charlie mentioned above. Some of my thinking:
- Practice makes perfect. By doing more problems, you will develop your own intuition. But you have to understand that acquiring knowledge will take time. Be patient, discipline and consistent. 
- Leetcode is my recommended platform. You can try all sort of solutions to solve problem. The key part is learning from other solutions in discussion to pick ideas which may inspire you solve future problems.
- Take notes of everything you learn(Leetcode has note feature if you know it) so you can revise later.

Not sure if this fit the posting guideline but I would like to recommend https://www.greatfrontend.com/projects for trying a challenging FrontEnd project and practice the latest technology as a side project.

I totally agree with what Alex mentioned. Besides the effective communication aspect, you need to learn how to write tech plan better and clearer:
- There are more stakeholders in FAANG companies, writing anything in a clear and well structured manner will deliver better to a wide audience.
- Be concise and have more data points.
- Use less passive voice and weasel words

Just add other softwares I used to keep notes and build a second brain:
- Org Roam: a plugin in emacs that organize notes in org format
- Anytype: https://anytype.io a simplified replacement for Notion with local first features.
