Help with mock interviews for quant research/trading

Hi everyone,

I am looking for someone to help me prepare for quant interviews, especially with practicing math/stats questions.

I am neurodivergent 🥲 and interviewing is hard for me in ways that are not easily addressed by online courses or self-study. You don't have to be highly qualified/trained to help because I mostly need practice and feedback to gain confidence that I'm not doing something "wrong".

How I can help you: resume/cover letter/linkedin review, being an accountability partner, etc. If there is a single typesetting inconsistency on your resume, I can find it. 😊

Best of luck with interviews! You can find other folks in the community to connect with here: https://www.jointaro.com/networking/?selectedServices=Mock+Interviews&selectedServices=Resume+Review

There's also a mock interview event coming up very soon: Taro Behavioral Mock Interviews Meetup

I also found https://www.pramp.com to be very helpful in getting paired with people of similar experience for free, mutual mock interviews.

I last used it in 2020. Back then, there used to be a form that asked about my experience, the kind of role I was looking for, and the area I want to interview in. IIRC, the choices were coding, system design, and behavioral interviews.

Once you select all that, you'd select a time and be paired with someone of similar experience and looking to mock interview in the same area. Both people would interview each other on the same question (that would be revealed at the start of the session) and share their feedback. I think the sessions were 90 mins long to allow enough time.

You could have your video on or not; I liked to have mine on. You could also connect with them offline if there's mutual interest.

    Hope this helps.

If you're open to it, I'd recommend sharing your LinkedIn/email address in the post itself to make it easier for people to contact you :) And Taro Networking will help!
