I was watching a video from a well known note-taking influencer/teacher https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3dDVtJ2sec and was curious what everyone used for note taking. In addition- how do you approach note taking?
For me:
I am curious on other people's system for this, since I am relatively unsophisticated here. I just use a Google doc for discussions with the Taro team, my YouTube videos, and other projects. I also use physical sticky notes for things I work on day-to-day.
At Meta, most of the PMs + engs used Quip, so I used that for my "work diary" and some design docs. If you work on a team, the friction of sharing is very real, like you said, so I'd just use what others on the team are using.
Working at Airtable, I imagine you are able to innovate in a much more meaningful way with regards to how you present data and share it. I like the examples you gave, I need to adopt those over time.
I use: RoamResearch.com
Google Keep looks amazing when my customers use it.

Actually we used Quip until 2020 then switched over to google docs 😅
It's been cool to see Airtable interfaces used internally though, that's one tool I think basically has no equivalent anywhere else
