How to improve on one of the Meta performance review pillars - Direction?
Direction: Strategy formulation and road mapping are key, along with influencing and collaborating with other teams. How I could promote proactive inclusion of ideas on other teams’ roadmaps and engaging with leadership to drive product decisions. It’s also important to consult with managers to identify tasks that create the most impact, whether they are big or small. Engaging in strategic and road mapping discussions can be highly beneficial.

Things like the overall org you're part of at Meta (ads, Reels, notifications, etc) and your tech stack would be really helpful. These questions are good, but without more specific information, it's hard to provide super concrete advice.
Anyways, you get points for "Direction" by being a bigger influence on more key decisions. There's many parts to this:
- Having the social capital and reputation so people listen to you to begin with
- Being exposed to that surface area where you can make the decisions
- Making good decisions
- Creating scope
All of these are huge areas to learn in and of themselves, but I think these are good resources to start:

I cannot share too much details. I hope you understand that, the same for my team. It does not matter if you answering high level, it will be bad to learn on the lower level for specific project or priority. I want to learn best practices and approaches for any team or situation.
