Hello! I am wondering if big tech firms sponsor masters degrees if they are related to your work (eg computer science) in top schools like Stanford if you are an employee? Is it part of the employee perks and is there a bond to fulfil after that? Asking this because it is otherwise very expensive to do masters at these top schools
It varies from company to company, but most big ones do some amount of tuition reimbursement. For example, Google will cover 67% of your education expenses up to $12,000/year (you can also use this to reimburse Taro!).
This is a perk that companies are generally very open about (it's good for your image to sponsor education), so if you ask your recruiter about this, I'm sure they'll tell you.
Thanks for the insights Alex!
