What questions to ask a recruiter during phone screen?
I feel a bit lost when asking questions to recruiters. It's simple for HM bc you can ask technical questions or about the role/team. But not sure how to approach asking questions to recruiters?

- "What's the biggest challenge facing the company right now?"
- "What's the favorite way that you've grown here?"
At a high-level, just ask questions about the company overall and their personal development. There's a ton of good space outside of the technical realm. In fact, I think asking technical questions is a bad use of time even when doing behavioral rounds with engineers/engineering managers. Choice of technology generally isn't that indicative of company quality, it's more about the culture and the quality of people.
