Any meetups you recommend around Bay Area?

I love Taro meetups, especially the physical meetups that happen once in a quarter or so. I have attended a few meetups from meetup.com, but haven't benefitted a lot from most of the them.

Are there meetups, workshops, clubs, or seminars you enjoy or recommend around the Bay Area for tech, startups, and career stuff in general?

Being in the Bay Area, you're in the center of tech and startups - take advantage of it! One quick note about Taro meetups is that you could plan your own! Just find a coffee shop and create am event from joinTaro.com/events at least 2-3 weeks out. We can help promote the event and get the word out.

A few event ideas come to mind:

    • SF Tech Week (happening now in SF): https://www.tech-week.com/
    • Tech-specific meetups, e.g. AI demo nights, or meetups for specific technologies such as Kotlin or databases. I remember I went to voice apps back when I was into building Alexa/Google Assistant apps.
    • Company-specific meetups, e.g. Google or GitHub might host events for certain new initiatives they have.
    • Find a smart friend and just go to the same event they are going to. You might find an interesting topic, and if not, you got to deepen your relationship with this person.

I added some additional thoughts here:
