Hello, is anyone familiar with the interview process (what questions they will ask) for a sr. python engineer position at apple?
Hey,
I would love to chime in here. I have interviewed for 2 contractor roles at apple and the interview varies depending on the team. Generally it was 2 rounds, 1 hour each and in each round you get 1 or 2 medium leetcode questions and some more specific questions related directly to the role. For a UI role I got some react questions map/filter/reduce operations on arrays. For a backend role I was asked Java/Spring Boot theoretical questions.
As Alex and Rahul mentioned, the recruiter is the best resource and they will be able to share with you what types of questions you are likely to get.
This one is probably too narrow for anyone to know unfortunately 😥. I did some Googling and found these:
There's nothing specific to Python though.
If I were you, I would do a mix of the following:
Best of luck!
Curious what the recruiter has said about the role? They're probably the best source of (1) what the team works on and (2) what types of questions will be asked.
My thought: contractor interviews are much more about specific tools and technologies compared to full-time roles, which are evaluating "ability to learn" much more.
This is great advice: If you don't know, just ask!
