I am interested in moving to Seattle if I get an offer from one of the FAANG companies. I would like to know what are the teams in those companies that have a center of focus in the greater Seattle area?
I imagine every major team at Microsoft has its core in Redmond/Seattle area.
For Meta, the only one I'm familiar with is Messenger infra (RTC + Assistant) as I worked with those teams at Portal. The assistant org might be absorbed into AML org though (AI & Machine Learning) which is based in Menlo Park I think.
Zooming out, there isn't a huge difference between Seattle and SF Bay Area in terms of opportunity IMHO. They're both top-tier tech hubs.
