Did meta start hiring in Indian locations?

When I worked at Meta (2017 - 2022), they didn't have any engineers in the country. And if you traveled to India, I believe they actually cut off access to any work resources so there was no risk of a data leak. Meta's leadership team was concerned that the Indian government would force employees to give up company user data.
