Reviewing courses - how to give feedback in comments for specific portions/videos

Is there a way to review different parts of a course?

For example, I'm finding a lot of missing information in some of the DSA courses, like entire fundamental pieces explaining simple stuff like "what is the Fibonacci approach," and it really bothers me a lot because it feels really incomplete each time I started one, it's so bad that I don't even want to bother continue watching the course.

On the opposite end, I also find that some of the courses have really GREAT material where I want to do more than <3 it and make a suggestion/comment.

Is it possible to do this?

Right now, reviews on Taro apply to an entire course (e.g. see reviews of Senior to Staff). We don't have a way to review a specific video or section. Is there an example platform that does this? I looked at sites like Udemy and Coursera, and I don't believe they have such functionality.

The workaround is that you could add that in the text portion of your review for the whole course. You could have a pros/cons list in the body of your review, similar to what you may see in an Amazon review.

We love to see this feedback on courses, so thank you for sharing 🙏🏽

Yes, I love all the courses on Taro. This is the only one I’m so nitpicky at having taken so many different DSA ones so wanted to provide concrete feedback for improvement in content.
