Is it considered a red flag and unprofessional by big tech staff to use emojis on Linkedin? Emojis like:

- "๐ŸŽ“ Graduated from x"
- "๐Ÿ’ป over 10 years of experience building..."
- "๐Ÿš€ Reduced page loading time by x second and..."

I think it's fine, and it doesn't matter if you're Big Tech or not I feel like?

What I will say though is that emoji spam doesn't look great in posts, and I think the algorithm will down rank posts that are emoji-heavy.

It could be subjective (and prejudiced).

I would say no: Each person has a personality and a style, and we should not be afraid to expose it in public.

What we should always take care of is respect.

    Nope, not unprofessional.

Your top priority should be clarity. If emojis help you more easily communicate your ideas, use them!

Are you talking about your LinkedIn profile or posts?

The responses seem to be in the context of posts, but your examples appear more relevant to the profile. :)

I wouldn't add them to the profile, the same way I wouldn't add them to the resume. They're OK in posts, esp. when not spammy to add visual elements in the absence of being able to format text otherwise.
