Is Workday hiring in the bay area?
Hello,
Wondering if anyone here @ workday knows if Workday is hiring for any roles at their Dublin / Pleasanton offices. It would be a crazy easy commute for me and I've got to try. I'm an iOS software Engineer ( E5 ).

13 days agoTech Lead @ Robinhood, Meta, Course HeroI Googled for "Workday jobs" (Google knows I'm a Bay Area SWE) and found several job postings, so I assume so? I think it's unlikely they'll have a lot of iOS positions though as I imagine Workday is web-first.
Even if a company is doing layoffs (like Workday recently did), they will generally still have some openings all the time to backfill attrition.

13 days agoAI/ML Eng @ Series C startupWhere are you located? If you're in the Dublin/Pleasanton area, it's not that hard to find a referral. Try asking around at the Bay Club Pleasanton or just hang out and talk to people at Beer Baron on Thursday nights.
Basically, there are a ton of Workday employees in the area and you just need to get out there. I live in Livermore and our version of Workday is the Lawrence Livermore National Lab.
