I am a seasoned Mobile engineer(Staff+) and have been looking for a new job since this January.
After failing at several job interviews with big tech companies like Meta, Square, Airbnb, Uber, etc I finally received offers from Okx, Doordash and Reddit.
To be honest, I feel like the biggest gap was DS&A. Over time, I improved a lot in this area and through the help of mentors and referrals, I was able to land the above offers. I'm very grateful for Taro (especially Rahul) for his constant words of encouragement and his guidance when I needed his help.
To everyone out there, I know the market may seem crazy but if you weather the storm, you will find success. If I can do it, you can too! Good luck!
Congratulations on your offers!
I'm so grateful that you shared your experience with others on Taro because it can encourage other people to trust the process and continue to chug along.

For others looking to improve their DS&A skills, what do you think helped to improve your skills the most?
Congrats on a huge success!! I'm happy to have been a supporter :)
The point about the DSA gap is so important, and you're proof that improvement is possible if you practice deliberately (and a few failed interviews help too).
This is what Alex talks about in The #1 Trait For Interview Success
Is there a prep plan which was followed for preparing for DSA, I find it overwhelming whenever I get started and drop it.
@Dibyendu, I believe this was the standard Leetcode grind on a schedule. OP, please correct me if I'm wrong!
Yeah I started with blind 75, Neetcode 150. I also subscribed to Neetcode's youtube channel to go over several strategies as well. I also went through leetcode for company specific questions as well. Plus on top of all of this, I really felt like I learnt a lot from the failed interviews too.
Love this! I'm working on getting better at DS&A since it's been a long time. I'd love to learn more about how you divided your days when it came to doing the problems. I'll get stuck sometimes and think, "How do people come up with solutions like this", so I have to keep doing more in order to get the pattern.
