Laid off - New Opportunity

I got laid off 3 weeks back after a PiP. I'm looking for new opportunities and talking to recruiters. When asked about your current role and company what should I mention? Is it ok to mention my last company/role?

Definitely do not mention the PIP -- you'll immediately get judged in a way that will hurt you. You should mention your last company and role, but explain that you left since "it wasn't a good fit." No need to share more details, as I explain in the PIP course here.

Here's another good thread: "How do I pursue recruiters if I was fired from my previous job?"

In general, reveal as little information as possible to recruiters and hiring managers, especially in the initial rounds. The early interview rounds are meant to filter people out, so they're looking for things to hold against you.
